After experiencing the amazing Camp Manitou in grade 9 it encouraged me to become a leader in grade 11. From that experience I was able to be apart of the Core Team, a small group of students who would collaborate and plan how camp would work.

Camp Olympia
Leader
At Camp Olympia I learned an array of leadership skills that would not only help me be a better leader but also understand how to not be afraid to be myself. Not to mention winning first place in the lip sync competition.

Environmental Club
Duck Race
For the environmental club I assisted in the selling of duck race money in order to fund raise for the club. At the end a duck race took place and the owner of the winning duck would be rewarded.

Vivacious Dance Crew (VDC)
Dance Crew Member
After performing at Camp Manitou I was asked to join the dance crew. Ever since that day I've been a loyal member of the dance team and have since been able to humbly place third, second, and in 2017, a hard earned first place at the Dance Off Competition.

Improv Club
Improv Member
After many discussions and enough confidence we were able to help begin the Improv Club. Through the years we were able to perform in a variety of shows, from pure improv to improv - based sketch comedy. Aside from being incredibly fun, the shows are also very successful, having pulled in an audience of 80 people from our latest show.

Who Knows?
I am unaware of what my future will hold for me, but I am both excited and terrified for what's to come in my life and all the experiences that I have coming.
